Equality into reality, diversity as a strength
Everyone benefits from the furthering of gender equality. Income disparities, the gendered division of labour and stereotypical gender roles have to be deconstructed both at home, at school and at work.
The rights and well-being of children must be guaranteed irrespective of family form. Rainbow families should be allowed to adopt children.
A society that offers accessible localities and services is favourable for everyone. Fewer steps and less noise. More interpretation, lifts and personal assistants.
The Finns are as “ethnic” as the Somali or the Roma. Racism and discrimination have to be prevented more effectively. A functioning bilingualism is a strength. The situation of the Swedish speaking Finns is a positive example of the protection of minorities.
